School menus are specially designed to meet and exceed the Government’s nutritional standards. It is also very important that children enjoy the choice of meals and we continually monitor children’s preferences. We hold regular SNAG (School Nutrition Action Group) Meetings where children from each class let us know what their class like and dislike about all aspects of lunchtime including school lunches. Following the last meeting we have made a number of changes to the menu.
As meals are ordered in advance we require at least two weeks notice for changes from school meals to packed lunches or vice versa.
We also have special menu days throughout the year which are very popular with the children. These have included:
- Chinese New Year
- Valentines Day
- Bonfire Night
- Mothers Day
- Fathers Day
- Teddy Bears Picnic and many more……
Cost of School Meals
